Editions 

Desktop Edition - annual license to produce 6 types of DataPlayers for embedding in report documents as well as web pages, browser 'dashboards' etc. on unlimited domains.

Web Edition - perpetual license to produce 3 types of DataPlayers only for a web sites on a single domain. Includes server-based automation tools providing scheduled and on-demand customised refresh and re-publication.

Upgrading

The Evaluation Edition download above doubles as a full product when activated with a license key. If you have a license key, install the Evaluation Edition (download above) then enter your license key on the welcome screen.

Software updates

Maintenance releases with bug fixes and minor enhancements will be made available for free until the next major version change. To be notified when updates are available, leave the Help menu option Automatically check for updates ticked

Existing users

If you have previously activated, you can upgrade your software installation (without affecting your existing license) by installing the above download over your existing installation. You may de-activate a license to transfer it to a new PC up to 3 times.

PC running Windows Vista, XP or 2000 (Mac version coming soon)

512MB+ memory (1GB+ if Vista) for typical data. Memory requirements depend on amount and complexity of data managed. 

1GHz+ processor (2GHz+ recommended)

50MB free hard disk space

Technical details

FeatureFinder is a Java desktop application for in-memory data visualisation. The default installer includes a private copy of Java which (if needed) is installed alongside FeatureFinder, isolated from other installed applications.

If you already have Java 1.4.2 or later, or have previously installed FeatureFinder, you can select the smaller lightweight download. Using the latest version of Java is recommended - download here.
