Client decided to adopt Omniscope as low-cost combined business intelligence reporting, data quality and workflow solution, with no relational SQL-based databases to maintain inside the department.
 | -Costly local 'data marts' eliminated, centrally administered databases now deliver large views/tables as 'meta-reports' directly to Omniscope.
-Omniscope used to merge and transform data using conditional formula data validation columns.
-Data consolidation, re-naming and high-level scrubbing now done quickly in the daily Omniscope source file by data quality staff.
-Senior management now receive by email a daily report file (containing all the data) that opens as an interactive 'dashboard' slide show. |
Daily Omniscope master file divided among Team Leaders for detailed scrubbing, adding links to associated documents, joining in the previous day's annotations/commentary, and prioritising key tasks before further dividing the file among their team.
Next step will be to start delivering client reports in branded, highly-visual, value-adding Omniscope files, as well as interactive Flash DataPlayers produced for each client using Omniscope DataPlayer Edition (coming soon).
